My Story

Born the elder of girl-boy twins towards the end of March,

I’m an Aries woman - passionate and motivated with a relentless determination.

Matt was the dreamer and I the doer as we grew up surrounded by the breathtaking splendour of the Yarra Ranges Victoria, the unique and majestic homeland of the Tuangurang people.

Raised by parents who both had their own deep connections to Nature, my innate sense of wonder and reverence for Mother Earth and all living things was fostered and encouraged during my early years.

I understood as a fundamental truth that all life – from the amoeba feeding on the algae in our fresh water dams to the butterflies who flitted between the silverbeet in our huge home vegetable garden, from our beloved Wolfhound dogs to the awe inspiring predators in the sky the wedge tailed eagle to the secret whispering blue gum trees which provided shelter and bound the earth together – all had their own unique place, unique role to play as a link in the Earth Mother’s chain of natural order.

It was because of this natural order of things, this symbiotic connection between all life forms, that my parents farmed organically – no pesticides or herbicides, just good old fashioned hard work – and my passion for all things natural, organic and low tox grew. My love of nature, the magick and mystery of the Mother, and reverence for all life was something that I taught my own children as I raised my family.

I understand how privileged my formative years were in all of the ways that are important, and it’s the gifts bestowed upon me by my parents I feel now a strong pull of my heart to share.
